We’re excited to work with you and your participant to help you find available housing units.
Here’s how the process works:
Important Notes:
Once an Intent to Rent Letter or Mock Lease is received, the unit will no longer be shown. Per our agreement with RPSS owners, agencies must act quickly to secure payment for tenant move-in. Please provide daily updates after an intent to rent is issued to ensure timely leasing. Notify RPSS immediately if there are delays or if securing payment is expected to take more than two weeks.
If move-in will take over 2-4 weeks, pay the owner’s invoice, schedule the PHA unit inspection for vouchers, and maintain communication with RPSS. RPSS may move to another candidate if communication lapses or payment is delayed beyond a month.
If none of these are possible, we will void the Intent to Rent/Mock Lease, release the unit and move to the next approved applicant.
Availability: If a unit is no longer listed, it is unavailable. Approved RPSS participants can view other available units without reapplying. Please check all available units and contact the point of contact to arrange a viewing.

Obtaining a background check requires the retrieval and sharing of sensitive personal information. Background check documents contain confidential information, some or all of which may be protected health information as defined by the federal Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule. When submitting the forms to request a background check, please do not put any identifying information, such as full names, in the email body or subject line.

Once you have received a copy of the background check, please review it carefully with your participant to ensure that the information reported is correct and is relevant to them. If any section of the report reflects information that is not related to your participant (some results may be due to a similar name or SSN), please call LeaseUp at 323-428-4742 and we will remove the irrelevant information and provide an updated report.

By providing consent, I hereby release PATH (People Assisting The Homeless), and its officers, employees, affiliates and partners from any claims, damages or liabilities of any kind, that may directly or indirectly result from the use, disclosure, or release of such information by any person or party, whether such information is favorable or unfavorable to me.
Residential and Property Support Services (RPSS) requires all clients leasing a unit to have a subsidy to comply with our contract with our funder. Please indicate the subsidy you or your client currently have or will have by the time of lease signing.
What was the previous address you or your client used? It can be a residence, shelter, DPSS address, or any location where you or your client received mail.
